The exercise date was Tuesday, 09 December 2003. The "Accident" took place on Pebble Island at approximately 0730 hrs.
Photo 1: shows a SeaKing, presumably from Pebble Island, with casualties aboard. The scenario was that an air crash on Pebble Island killed or injured 100 people.
No. 2:Communications is important and this mobile unit and operator were supplied by the Military.
No3. When the Helicopter landed, the inflatable triage unit and stand-by medical staff were ready to sort the casualties.
No. 4: The helicopter lands on the football pitch close to the mobile triage unit.
No. 5: The exercise ended due to bad weather at noon. The triage unit had to be deflated and packed up.
No. 6: It didn't take long at all to pack up the unit and leave the pitch.
